Recruitment open day – Powys County Council

Our events are the best way to find out about our job opportunities, so come along to Hafan Yr Afon in Newtown on Wednesday 5 July to find out about our care and support worker roles.

There’s no need to book a place, just pop in anytime between 10.00am – 6.30pm.

You’ll meet some of our friendly team to hear first-hand what it’s like to work in the community to support people with their daily needs to live independently in their own home.

If you like what you hear, and the job is right for you, interviews and conditional offers can be made on the day.

To speed up the recruitment process, bring along the following items on the day:

  • Your ID
  • A list of all your qualifications
  • Your full work history
  • Referee details

Don’t worry if you’re not ready for an interview, just pop in for an informal chat and hear more about the job and our learning and development opportunities.

No childcare? No problem, bring the kids along.
